Impressions from meeting in Leeuwarden

Last week (18-21 may) Beka and Anne-Lise from Trial&Error took part in the international meeting of the project #Greendeal4Eu. in Netherlands (Leeuwarden). Together with other 8 organisations from EU, they shared their experience and visited initiatives working on cleaner environment, more affordable energy, smarter transport, new green jobs and an overall better quality of life through sustainability.

Our hosts were the Learning Hub Friesland  is realizing the visions, plans and international ambitions of those active in education and training: teachers, trainers and students.

The frisian artist @Anne_mh_graswinckel gave us some input to start our infographic. We drew and reflected about community building, awareness, sustainability and how to open mindsets.

Thank you for this great mapping session.

The Dutch artist Bruno Doeddens came to the crazy idea of moving trees 🌳

"If trees can move,  we can change too" he says.

10 000 trees will be moved by volunteers  in the city of #Leeuwaarden for 90 days to make more people conscious about the climate change. This great project is called @bosk.frl.

The picture shows the changes our volunteers participated to on 19th May 2022.

We visited one of the Fablabs of @program_labs. This European project helps motivating young people,  who are no longer motivated for school to learn and experiment the Make spaces. We visited a ceramic atelier, a 3d-printing and wood - cutting atelier and a 3d one where old plastics are up cycled. As one of the participants and our guide said " we can not all learn the same way". Very inspiring experience and people
